im soooo tired!!!work today was great..y??HALF DAY!hee...
n there's sth happened that i can say "im proud of myself"..chey..

this is what actually happened..

patient A needs to go down for Xray of the chest n abdomen..n shes on OXYGEN therapy..so..a staff nurse(SN) nids to accompany her down with the porter(someone who fetches n sends patients or things from anywhere to anywhere..)..ok..so the SN incharge of her was kind enuf..prepared the portable oxygen tank etc..and gues wat..she ONLY prepare..cos shes too bz to bring the pt down..another nurse was like.."yatassha,can help to bring patient down?"..oklor..n plus..this is the 2nd time sending pt down..the first time was a DIL(dangerously ill list) pt..means??anytime can die!haha..so this time round..was abit better rte..then i overheard the doctor saying.."we DIL her after the xray"..n iwas like.."wtf!..so shes also like..emm..VERY2 ILL??n yeap..she is..her tummy was distended..as if shes 6 months pregnant..n shes so breathless...so..as agreed..i send down the patient..reached the xray room.the clerk was checking the xray forms.then!..
clerk:staff nurse...
me:yes?
clerk:theres no doctors name on the form..
me:WHAT!!okok..ill call up the ward now..
clerk:ok..den help me to write it down on this form k..
me:ok..(picks up the fone on the counter..still keeping a glance on my patient..dials the ward's number..n taddaaa....ENGAGED!)
me:shyt..the wards fone is engaged!(continue koling n took out hp to call colleague..so both ears are with phones..)
clerk:wah..hahah!!
me:okok..wards fone's ringing!
so..after getting the dr's name..wrote down on the form..then strait to the xray room..cchanged pt to xray gown..then i was like chilling one side looking at how the radiologists was doing their work..then ..
radiologist X :staff nurse ar..i think patient urinated.n theres blood..
me:nvm..continue with xray first.
after xray was done i went to the pt..
me:ah ma..ni panjio ar?
ahma:mei yo ar..
me:(donned gloves wnet to check her pants n found out it was not wet then the radiologists n i was hunting for the source of the leakage..n..)aha! its her drip!shyt la...drips leaking..
radiologist:ouh ouh!
me:(realised the plug was halfway out of vein..wth rte!..)..help me get a micropore..thank you..
radiologist:okok!(kanchiong-ed)
me:(feels her vein where the plug was at..then pushes in the iv plug)
ahma:aiyo..pain!
me:sorry hor..hee
den mradiplogist passes me the micropore..i pasted on the plug..secured it..den NO MORE LEAKAGE!!.hhehhehe..
lucky i knw how to troubleshoot..n not listen to this Patient Care Assistant who was like saying.."SN u new rite..hmm..just off plug la..cannot do anything already..leaking alreadY.."
wahlao..look down on me sumor..IN UR FACE!!hmph..

so brought pt up..inform the staffs there..n evryone at the counter went.."wah!!good job2!!wah..promoted la..nonid to becum SN..be NC..n the sister of the ward was there too....n i was blushing lar!then the SN ic went.."thank you2..lucky ar..nonid to reset the plug..THE AHMA'S VEINS ARE SO DIFFICULT TO FIND!!"...
heeee...then i was like.."nvm2...no problem..dun have to thank me..(eating the humble pie or what!ahahah!)...
so the day went smoothly after that..went hum...slept..OVERSLEPT...supposed to go marsiling to surprise him la....but..tsk...cannot make it..was in deep sleep..so.sleep lor...heee..(attitude!)..
ps;i duno what to wear for GRADUATION!!
